Mr John Evans (Father Christmas) has been raising funds for charity since 2002 with his Christmas Lights display. Friends and neighbours in Amanwy are very much involved in helping with the putting up of the lights each year.

2005- Air Ambulance £5,833
2006 he is again raising funds for Ty Bryngwyn Hospice and goes out every evening (weather permitting) to cheerily greet people passing by on foot or in their cars who come back year after year to see the street lit up for Christmas.
